Russian-Israeli vocalist Alina sparks memories of classic jazz and blues singers, which she layers with R&B, funk, and rock elements to create her unique voice. Influenced by Etta James, Stevie Wonder, and Sarah Vaughan, she carries on their tradition as well as staying fresh and innovative, which she maintains through exploring new cultures around the world.
Her travels in south America and Europe, as well as her middle eastern background, lend a distinct flavor to her sound and style. Alina is currently a jazz voice major at Cornish College of the Arts, where she studies with Johnaye Kendrick and collaborates with the top musicians in the northwest.
“Alina is a true artist with a natural musicianship that will have a lasting impact on the future of music.” ~Johnaye Kendrick
